Granville Island
“I like to just stroll around Granville Island". Some favorites are Make Vancouver Store (it has very random and cool things), The Lobster Man, The Liberty Distillery, and Beadworks (it's reasonably priced, and you can make necklaces and bracelets there).
Soigne
This is a creative space, where you can craft something unique for yourself. Soigne offers a variety of classes and workshops to learn how to make jewelry, soaps and bath fizzies, soy candles, handmade paper, leather bags, and so much more. It's a fun experience to enjoy with friends!
“They offer many different classes but I took the Coin Ring Class. It lasted about 2 hours and twelve of us took the class. A few Irish people were there, so we all used Irish coins while others used Canadian and American coins. You can grab some food and drinks before or after in Belgard Kitchen, it is a 2 minute walk away.” - Karen

Deep Cove
Deep Cove is located in North Vancouver and has one of the most beautiful views in Vancouver area. You can start your day enjoying the delicious donuts from Honey Doughnuts & Goodies, then head to the Quarry Rock for a hike, and finish your day relaxing with some paddleboarding. This place is a must-go destination for nature lovers!
Evo Cinema Outdoor
Gather your friends, grab some popcorn and your favorite snacks, and enjoy one of the most fun free outdoor movie experiences in Vancouver! Every Tuesday, a classic film is shown on a huge screen at Stanley Park.
“I remember it like it was yesterday. My first hike in Vancouver was Quarry Rock in Deep Cove. I was amazed to see kids and dogs on the trail. But the best part was reaching the big rock and seeing that breathtaking ocean view for the first time." - Julia
